PASTOR
DAN THOMAS III
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.”
Pastor Dan Thomas III is a native of Chicago, Illinois and is the eldest of five children from Dan and Ivata Thomas. He studied at the Faith Based Institute located in Monroe, Louisiana, from which he earned an Associate degree in Ministry and Theological Studies.
Pastor Dan has been preaching the gospel since the age of 18 and has been in pastoral ministry since 2015. He has served as pastor and founder of Hope for You Ministries, which started in Las Vegas, Nevada. In December 2018, Pastor Dan relocated to Land O’ Lakes, Florida in which he moved the ministry to its new home and new name of Hope For You Christian Center.
In 2003, Pastor Dan spent three years working as a Recovery Specialist for a faith-based initiative program, which assisted young adults and adults with substance abuse problems. This program was implemented by former President, George W. Bush who pushed the initiative that faith-based organizations are to assume a greater role, in providing social-service programs, without breaching the separation of church and state.
Pastor Dan is widely known for his practical and vibrant teaching style, which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. He is eager to share God’s Word to the members and visitors of Hope For You Christian Center.
